A magnitude 3.2 earthquake, followed by a pair of 2.7 temblors, struck late Sunday night in the Redlands area, according to the Southern California Seismic Network.

The first earthquake struck at 10:13 p.m. about 3 miles southeast of Redlands and 6 miles west of Yucaipa, according to a preliminary report on the network's Web site. The next two were recorded at 10:28 and 10:30 p.m., respectively. The survey is a joint effort of the U.S. Geological Survey and the Caltech Seismological Laboratory.
